Honey is harvested to the alpine area of Omalos, to the White Mountains of Crete.
With rare biodiversity, with variety of endemic species of plants, with distinctive microclimate of the area, With ecological handling, in keeping with the Rules of Right Beekeeping Practice and Hygiene.
Due to the climatic conditions that prevail even in the summer season at the high altitudes of the White Mountains, collecting nectar and pollen from the bees becomes more difficult, with a limited amount of honey, but a higher quality.
